How do I check my email using the webmail client?

You can read the messages online, using the webmail application 'SquirrelMail' made available to you. This popular application will allow you to read the messages, save them, maintain a contact book and perform all the classic functions of the email programs you are used to.

The main difference between webmail and applications that read messages offline, such as Microsoft Outlook Express, Eudora, Pegasus, Thunderbird, etc., is that these functions are performed online instead of being completed on your computer.

Reading online messages is optional. You can use your favorite offline email application, if that's what you want. You can also use a combination of webmail and other tools - you can check messages online when you're at home and download them to your computer when you get to work.

To read messages online:

By pointing your browser to http://www.numedomeniu.com/webmail (Linux) and respectively http://webmail.numedomeniu.com (Windows) ... a window will appear asking for a username, where you will enter the full email address, ex: office@numedomeniu.com and for the password, the chosen password.

Very important! To access a user mailbox, the full mail address mail@domeniu.com and the password set in cPanel or Plesk for the respective mailbox must be specified!

After validation, you will be directed to a section with 2 types of email clients. With a single click on the icon of one of them, you choose the one with which to view the messages.

Careful! Before you can use an email address, you must create it from the Control Panel.

The webmail application runs on ports 2095 and 2096 (https). If you are behind a firewall, you will not be able to access the administration interface unless the firewall allows connections on these two ports.

Unfortunately, there is no other solution for this problem than contacting your network administrator to unblock the two ports.
