Yes. You can delete an email account when you no longer need it. The default email account cannot be deleted.
1. Go to cPanel -> EMAIL -> Email Accounts
2. Click on the "Manage" button corresponding to the email address you want to delete in the "Email Accounts" section of cPanel
2. Click on the "Delete Email Account" link
3. Press the "Delete" button
